Do I need bartending experience?
No prior experience is needed. The course begins with tools, setup, and pouring fundamentals before moving into cocktails and simulated service.
How do I earn the certificate?
Full participation, a written score of at least 75%, a practical score of at least 80%, and passing the critical safety items are required.
Is this a bartending license?
No. This is The Pour Academy Certificate of Completion, a private training credential. It is not a city pouring permit, state license, or approved alcohol-awareness certificate.
Does completion guarantee a job?
Completion does not guarantee employment. You will develop foundational skills to continue practicing and take into future hospitality opportunities.
Can I make a deposit?
Tuition is $499.99, paid in full. Deposits and installment payments are not offered.
How do I enroll?
Choose an available Monday date within the next 30 days on the enrollment calendar. A seat is only confirmed after registration and payment are completed. After class, request your included experience from your private enrollment page.
What is included in the $499.99 tuition?
Your Monday intensive (approximately 4–6 hours), training and assessments, study packet, a certificate upon successful completion, and one separately scheduled two-hour Behind the Bar Experience.
How does the second session work?
After your paid Monday class, submit your availability through your private enrollment page. Staff confirm class completion and schedule a two-hour supervised session at Flavors4 with up to three students. It is not automatically the day after class. Dates can be confirmed up to 30 days ahead.
Is the experience paid?
The supervised training shift has an hourly pay rate agreed with staff before scheduling. Your confirmed rate appears on your private enrollment page. No extra tuition is charged for the included experience.
Can I invite friends and family?
Yes, once staff confirm your session. Bringing guests is optional and is not a condition of participation. Guest food and drinks are purchased separately, and venue admission rules apply.
Will I be photographed or filmed?
Only with your permission. The request form has an optional photo/video consent checkbox, which starts unchecked. You can participate without agreeing to promotional content.
What is the minimum student age?
Students must be 18 or older and bring valid government-issued photo ID.
