One-Day Bartending Intensive in Atlanta
Learn the fundamentals behind a confident shift in a real bar setting. The Pour Academy is an independent training brand offering one-day bartending classes in Atlanta. Host venues may change by class.
Course format and tuition
Monday classes run approximately 4–6 hours. Tuition is $499.99, paid in full. Each class accommodates up to 40 students with 2–3 instructors and rotating stations. One separately scheduled two-hour Behind the Bar Experience is included. See the enrollment calendar for Monday availability within the next 30 days.
What you will practice
- Bar setup: identify tools, organize your station and practice sanitation habits.
- Pour accuracy: work with a jigger and repeat measured pours using training liquid.
- Cocktail technique: build, shake, stir, muddle, strain and garnish core cocktails.
- Guest service: clarify orders, communicate professionally and learn POS and tab basics.
- The Rush: complete simulated service and written and practical assessments.
Eligibility and completion requirements
Students must be 18 or older and bring valid government-issued photo ID. The Certificate of Completion requires full participation, at least 75% on the written assessment, at least 80% on the practical assessment, and passing the critical safety items.
What the certificate means
This private training credential documents successful course completion. It is not a city pouring permit, state license or approved alcohol-awareness certificate, and employment is not guaranteed.

Experience it.
Build your foundation in the Monday intensive, then return for your Behind the Bar Experience: one two-hour supervised training session at Flavors4, scheduled separately after class.
DAY 2 / BEHIND THE BAR
Your two-hour experience
Practice station setup, order taking, drink preparation, guest interaction, and resetting your bar with a supervising bartender. Up to three students per session.
YOUR MOMENT / SHARE IT
Friends & family showcase
Invite guests to support you once your session is confirmed. Invitations are optional. Photo and video participation is optional, with your permission.
One experience is included at no additional tuition charge. After your paid Monday class, request a session through your private enrollment page. Staff confirm completion, availability, your supervisor, and the hourly training pay rate before scheduling. Sessions can be confirmed up to 30 days ahead.
The experience takes place on a separately confirmed date, not necessarily the next day. Guest purchases are separate. This supervised training experience does not guarantee employment.
